I read Bob Condotta's report on his blog today on the men's basketball team workout.

Couple of great things to read about were the positive reports on both Matthew Bryan-Amaning (MBA) and Joe Wolfinger. With Jon Brockman looking as solid as he has ever been, the Huskies are looking very good up front.

The depth that the team has going into next season will definitely be its strength.

And if the early grueling conditioning workout regimen is any indication, it appears that Romar will be putting that depth to good use by running a lot this season.

From the early reports we've read and seen, it looks like the 07/08 version of the Huskies will be very exciting to watch indeed.

Official practice starts exactly 1 week from today on Fri Oct 12. I can't wait...

Good stuff

I'm real excited for this team's depth, and excited now that we actually have some healthy athletic wings.
In other good news, Brook Lopez is declared academically ineligible for the fall semester, too bad it wasn't the spring semester, but that's ok, though if they have a cupcake non-conference schedule this may help them if Robin Lopez improves from playing more.

agreed

The Brook Lopez thing hurts the Cardinal some but not that much.

It will be exciting to see the old Huskies back again. The fast running style. Don't get me wrong, I think Spencer is a great post-player, but I think he really compromised the team's natural tendencies by focusing everything on him last year. In hindsight, he probably wasn't the best fit for the Huskies.
