Been extremely busy lately, but want to get some thoughts on the close exhibition win over SPU 86-77.  Though just an exhibition game, there was some concern for sure with SPU staying with the Huskies until the final few minutes.

Turnovers were a major problem, some of that can be attributed to first game jitters and freshman mistakes.

But there were bright spots, Brockman looks better than he's ever been and if there was any doubt who the leader of this team is, he answered it last night.

Venoy Overton was very impressive as expected. I would not be surprised if he is the starting PG by Jan over Dentmon.

Wolfinger, Morris and Pontdexter were average, more will be expected of them as the season progresses.

Overall, a scary start, but still, flashes of great transition basketball should give Husky fans plenty to be excited about. The NIT Season tip-off is next, first game vs NJ tech.
