Husky Basketball vs. Cal State Northridge By andrewjh Section: BasketballPosted on Sat Dec 22, 2007 at 12:29:23 PM EDT
Getting this up early as I am about to fly across the country back home to Seattle. Also, I'm trying out a new format for the basketball threads including Ken Pomeroy's prediction. I'll probably start doing starting lineups again once we get to Pac-10 play. So, feel free to comment here about anything Husky Hoops related.
Preview
The Cal State Northridge Matadors (7-2) come to town tonight to take on the Huskies. The Matadors play a very uptempo style of offense. They've scored 90+ points four times this season and have only been below 70 points in two of their games. We can expect a lot of offense in this one. For UW to win this one they'll need to be on their game from the field, stop missing free points at the line, and keep up with the Matadors on the fast break. Overall, we're the favorites, but if I had to pick an upset loss this might be the one.

Pomeroy Prediction

LET'S GO HUSKIES!
